Greetings fellow book lovers!   We, Beth & Russ Evans, are Eureka! Books, a partnership that developed from the marriage of two bibliophiles.
Russ likes to tell people that we began selling books out of self-defense....books kept following us home.  That's not too far from the truth.       
Our interest in books and our desire to work together in a customer-oriented business led to the birth of Eureka! Books from our home office in rural Maine.  We've developed an approach to bookselling that we think best suits the book needs of our buyers from both Central Maine and around the world.  Our books are inventoried by number and stored to preserve condition.  Each book is thoroughly described using the accepted antiquarian bookseller standards and presented for sale on the internet.  We have been selling online since 1998 through the online book sources we've found to be the most professional.  Books are available for inspection at our location in Mt. Vernon by appointment.
